SCOUT was co-founded by Deb Waterman Johns and husband Ben Johns in 2004. A working mom of four, Deb needed large, sturdy, affordable totes to carry all of her family’s stuff without getting weighed down. When she couldn’t find them, she made them. With nearly four decades of experience in the fashion industry as a former Vogue editor and celebrity stylist, Deb’s refined eye and creative vision are the driving force behind the SCOUT brand.
